The food partly made up for the above inconveniences. We ordered bruschetta, margarita pizza (wood-fired), pesto and carbonara pasta , and for dessert, we got some fruit, sherbet and a slice of chocolate cake. Food-wise, I would say it's two thumbs up.

Finally, we got to have a taste of this amazing pizza place from El Nido Palawan! All fresh and natural topped with the ambience of being along the seaside. Our authentic pizza is crafted in the tradition of Naples, Italy, the birthplace of pizza. Good food, ambiance and service. The lounge was weird at first but was quite comfy, once you get used to it.

Probably but maybe not in the near future. I was so excited to eat in this resto thinking it is Italian, similar to Mamalou's a few meters down the road... But its ambiance got me confused as it seems to be attempting to be Balinese as well. I understand fusion but this one is just plain confusion.

Had carbonara is dort if watery. The lasagna was not good... Too many carrots in the ragu that makes it sweet and bring out the acidity of the tomatoes. Nice place, reasonably priced but dies nat vdd as value a detour to BF... With good food, excellent service, and a relaxing Christmas ambiance, Trattoria Altrov'é BF Homes is here to make your holiday festivities an unforgettable one. In this Inn delicious Pizza is freshly baked in the traditional way, and you can expect typical Italian cuisine with classics like pizza and pasta. There is also meals with typical European flair. I had been to some authentic Italian restaurants here and in the USA. Altrove is definitely my no 1 on my list.

We had to follow up again just to be given these precious drinks. Earlier, when we arrived, we already asked for water and were given only 2 out of the 4 needed glasses. It was only after the end of the meal, when we asked again, that we were given the extra 2 water glasses. Overall, i would still give them a passing mark just for the good food and the interior setup. They would have earned 4 or 5 stars from me if it were not for the drinks. Makes me think now that the dim lighting must have something to do with their not seeing properly if guests are served enough or not.

Also tried the pasta with sundries tomatoes and shrimp and I really like it, seasoned very well. The place is big as well with an outdoor section with floor sitting. Went dinner time and they got a pianist to set the mood for a romantic or chill dining experience.

Ambiance was romantically enhanced by...live... I like the food, the service, the atmosphere..let me rephrase...I like everything about this place!!! The staff who accommodated us is Jinkee and she's great.
